On openSUSE 11.0 there's no /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt .

Would it be possible to provide a valid cert with the package (or provide a cert in e.g. /usr/share/memopal/certs/ as backup) ?

Nevertheless I was able to import this file from debian and connect to memopal.

Installation on openSUSE 11.0 wasn't that easy. I tried alien, but it failed on libopenldap and liblber - which were available.

I extracted the binary then by hand.
